What is Alpha?
Alpha is a fun dinner series followed by group conversations centered around exploring the big questions of life, spirituality, and faith from a Christian lens in a laid back and non-judgmental environment.
It’s designed for those who do not consider themselves Christians or for those who are rethinking their faith. If you are curious, skeptical, or just have questions, bring them to Alpha and explore them with new friends!
How it works
Alpha is like a dinner party, where guests are invited to socialize, watch a short film, and engage in judgment-free discussion. Each evening features a 25-minute talk or film designed to inspire more questions than provide answers as they explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith?
The best part of the night is the conversation, where you will get to know the people around the dinner table, ask big questions, and share your thoughts and experiences of life and faith. Each group is led through the evening by a host who asks questions and leads conversation around the night's question.
You are free to share or ask whatever you'd like and as much or as little as you're comfortable with.
